Bear Tracks 14 Steps of Carpet Care
"We use the World’s Largest, Most Powerful & Advanced Cleaning System – The Big Bear Truck!”
Step 1: Pre-Inspection Our technician will walk through your home with you to visually inspect the carpet. He/she will identify potential permanent stains and give you an evaluation of expected results.
Step 2: Pre-vacuum Dry soil is removed by a thorough vacuuming. Removing dry soil is one of the most important steps in cleaning. As part of our “green” cleaning method we use ProTeam's true HEPA filtration backpack vacuums.
Step 3: Furniture Moving Our regular pricing includes moving light furniture such as sofas, chairs, small tables and smaller items. Beds, dressers, and heavier pieces are left in place under our regular pricing structure. Most furniture can be cleaned under or edged around. Any furniture we move will have blocks or clear plastic tabs placed under the legs.
Step 4: Pre-spray A preconditioning agent is applied to break down traffic area soil and general spots for more thorough cleaning.
Step 5: Pre-spot Difficult spots are pre-treated with special solutions to increase chances of removal.
Step 6: Pre-grooming A professional carpet grooming tool is used to further loosen the soil.
Step 7: Soil Extraction and Rinse The carpet is then thoroughly rinsed with the Most Powerful, Advanced & Largest Cleaning System (The BIG Bear Truck) without over-wetting the carpet or leaving a sticky residue behind.
Step 8: Edging We pay attention to detail. The edges of the carpet along the baseboards are thoroughly rinsed with another extraction cleaning tool.
Step 9: Neutralizer Every carpet we clean is pH balanced so that there is no sticky residue left behind. This also leaves your carpet soft and fresh.
Step 10: Post Spot Treatment Any spots or stains still remaining will get extra treatment with our many specialty spotting solutions. Most of the time with our cleaning techniques there is no need for this step unless it is a stain that would require red stain removal or pet stains that need extra attention.
Step 11: Applying a Fiber Protection Most of our clients believe in having a protector applied to their freshly cleaned carpet. This will help in removing any spots or spills that may occur in between cleanings, extend the life of your carpet and help your carpet stay cleaner longer.
*** For longer carpet life and fewer permanent stains, be sure to have professional carpet protector applied to your carpet
Step 12: Speed Drying
Step 13: Post Grooming Your carpet is groomed with a professional grooming tool so that the pile of your carpet is standing tall when we leave. Post grooming helps the carpet pile dry faster and in the right position.
Step 14: Post Cleaning Inspection Our technician will walk through your home with you to point out the cleaning results and to make sure that you are completely satisfied with the job.

Our Grizzly Dryers are placed on the carpet immediately after cleaning to promote faster drying. Most of the time we have carpet dry to the touch in homes before we leave even without the use of these dryers, compliments of using the BIG Bear Truck.
